Explosive batter Rilee Rossouw said he loves batting at Multan Cricket Stadium's pitch.
Multan Sultans' batter Rossouw, who continued his dominance in second consecutive match in Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8, shared his experience of playing in Multan.
"I always love to play in Multan. Maybe due to good wickets and more boundary hitting options," he shared. "Credits to the wicket which are really good here," he added.
The left-handed batter scored swashbuckling 75 runs against Peshawar Zalmi in fifth PSL 8 contest on Friday. His destructive knock took Sultans to 210-3 in 20 overs.
A roaring Multani crowd once again managed to impress the South African cricketer.
"It's fantastic to see the crowd back in the stadium. I mean we missed them due to COVID-19 period for a couple of years. Finally they are back and brought the much-needed energy," he highlighted.
"It's an exceptional feeling when people are chanting for players like Pollard, Miller and other players. You get that energy," he maintained.
Rossouw dedicated his fifty celebration to his son whom he called, 'The Spiderman'.
"If I get an opportunity to score again, I will come up with another special celebration," he concluded.
It must be noted here that Sultans beat Zalmi by 56 runs to remain at top of the points table. They won two out of three games they have played so far at home.
After Rossouw, Usama Mir played an important role in Sultans' victory over Babar Azam's Zalmi.
Young Saim Ayub was leading the charge after Zalmi were set to chase 211 runs. Usama came in and did the massive destruction. Usama went on to hit perfect lengths and picked up quick wickets in the middle overs to put Zalmi on the back foot.
The leg-spinner bagged three crucial wickets to lay down a solid foundation for the table toppers.
